Express Bus to Airport Starts in Our County

As of October 1, you can now get a ride to Detroit Metro Airport that is efficient, comfortable and inexpensive. The Michigan Flyer luxury bus now stops at the Meijer parking lot in Brighton 14 times every day to take you to Metro, and it only costs $20 each way for a round trip. Overnight parking is available for just $2.50 per night when you make your reservation.

Even better, this new service didn’t cost Livingston County taxpayers any money. The funds to start and operate this service come from Indian Trails (the parent company of Michigan Flyer), state funds, and fares from riders. Why drive in traffic and pay high parking rates at Metro when you can relax in a comfortable seat with free wifi, free water, outlets to charge your devices and a restroom a few steps away? And you’ll be dropped off right at your terminal.

The MI Flyer weekday pick-ups in Brighton start at 3 am and end at 5:30 pm. The 14 return trips from Metro start before 5 am and finish after 11 pm. Riders on some runs can get off in Ann Arbor or Lansing (see schedule for details at https://www.michiganflyer.com).
