Dear LCTC Members and Community,
First off, the steering committee of the LCTC wants to say that we hope you and yours are safe and staying healthy. We are all wondering what our new normal will look like in the weeks and months to come. With that in mind, we wanted to reach out to the coalition as it has been some time since we have all met face to face.
We want to give you an update on what has been going on the last few months. As it stands today LETS is running essential rides for health care and emergency management only. This will continue until the Governor starts to implement opening things back up. What that will look like we are unsure of at this time. The steering committee has been meeting virtually to ensure that the momentum is not lost on the various transportation activities we have in the works.
Greg Kellogg is awaiting ever changing information on what the LETS service will be able to do as things ramp back up with respect to federal, state, and local restrictions. We are looking to have a virtual meeting at some point in May once information is more concrete from officials at all levels. We cannot set an exact date of when this info will be available but will reach out a few days in advance via email and our website http://movelivco.org/ to let the coalition know the day and time of the virtual coalition meeting, standby we will be in touch soon.
Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Helpful,
Neal Glazebrook
Vice Chair LCTC
